Do you have experience in groundworks and retail project management? We’re looking for a competent and skilled Project Manager, salary between £30-£45k dependent on experience. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Travel required. Viable candidates must be commutable to our HQ in Wendover, Bucks.

Role Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage multiple ground works and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Retail Environment: Manage projects specifically within retail settings, coordinating work schedules to minimise disruption to client operations.
• Team Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors, site managers, and ground workers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project schedules.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets the company’s quality standards and complies with industry regulations and client expectations.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or adjustments required during the project.
• Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits across the UK to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure site safety and compliance.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.

What you need:

• Experience: Proven experience as a project manager, preferably within ground works and retail environments.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of ground works, retail fitouts, and the unique challenges associated with working in live retail environments.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards successful project completion.
• Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain attention to detail.
• Communication: Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members professionally and efficiently.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationwide for site visits and client meetings as required.
